We start with a phone call or e-mail when a business person has a challenge or is feeling “pain” due to business issues. The initial phone calls are always FREE, even if it takes a few of them to gain an understanding of the matters at hand.
Geoff will usually request a little data and some general information to make sure he understands the objectives of the potential work. At the same time, the prospective client is asking questions concerning how the work may proceed.
Once the discovery process is complete, Geoff submits a detailed proposal for review. There is usually some communication “back and forth” to get a written summary of the work absolutely clear and focused.
The relationship can be either a “retained” one with a monthly fee and ongoing work or a short-term project. Projects can vary widely from one day to many months in order to meet the unique needs at hand.
Once there is a verbal agreement on work to be executed, formal documents are signed and Geoff makes an on-site visit to get things started.
